This morning, very early, I got up to get some water. Not being able to immediately got back to sleep, I turned on the television which in my house is set to Fox News automatically. At that time the news centered around a seemingly obscure dance club in Orlando and a shooting. I figured that I was some type of domestic dispute but as they showed the death toll, which at the time was just 20, I knew that it was something more involved. This was a well timed and executed attack on a particular set of people. Then came the word that it was, in fact, a Gay nightclub and the death count is now up to 53.
Let me make this clear, this was not some “lone wolf”, random occurrence. The death toll is now at 50 and could get higher due to the ammunition and savage precision of the attack. The killer’s name is Omar Mateen of Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Port St. Lucie is roughly 83 miles north of our house in Fort Lauderdale.
Is he a refugee or immigrant? Ummmm, nope…… Mateen was a U.S. citizen; his parents are from Afghanistan, CBS News reports. He was a “home-town” type of fellow.
Omar’s father Mir Seddique told NBC News that the sight of two men kissing angered his son.
“We are saying we are apologizing for the whole incident,” the father added. “We weren’t aware of any action he is taking. We are in shock like the whole country.”
The attack, he said, “has nothing to do with religion.”…….. Of course not, because as the news on all networks will say tomorrow…… Islam is the religion of peace. And they will twist themselves into pretzels all day long to make sure that you know old Omar was a “lone wolf” or “crazy dude out of his mind”. The MSM will slowly spoon feed us the info in a way that does not detract from Hillary Clinton’s attempt to get liberal gay votes. The justice department will promise to prosecute American citizens who say anything different and that will be that…… until the next time and the cycle starts over again. Because as the liberal leaning Daily Beast says, there is no immediate indication that Mateen had any direct connection to ISIS. He did not have his ISIS picture ID and membership cards on him, I suppose.
But…. then again, a source did note that ISIS recently declared online that its followers should mount attacks to mark the approach of the holy month of Ramadan. Mohammed al-Adnani, I hope I got the spelling right since these names tend to run together for people like me who are not as familiar with them, released a recording of the following message: “Ramadan, the month of conquest and jihad. Get prepared, be ready…to make it a month of calamity everywhere for the non-believers…especially for the fighters and supporters of the caliphate in Europe and America,”
Um, I think that was a command or directive. So Omar, like a good soldier of sorts, loaded up his car with his AR-15-style assault rifle and a handgun, drove a couple of hours to this little club in Orlando by the name of Pulse at around 2 a.m. Sunday morning and began shooting.
At least 100 people took a bullet in one form or another and 47 are still in the hospital. The rest are dead.
The deadliest single-person mass murder in American history before Orlando occurred in Bath, Michigan, in 1927, when a man bombed a school, killing 44 people.
Meanwhile, stay tuned for a massive flood of stories on the MSM about Trump University and the Romney summit.
Finally, for those who feel as though I am “Islamophobic”, I print for you the facts from the Quran, read it at your leisure…..
Quran (7:80-84) – “…For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds…. And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone)” – An account that is borrowed from the Biblical story of Sodom. Muslim scholars through the centuries have interpreted the “rain of stones” on the town as meaning that homosexuals should be stoned, since no other reason is given for the people’s destruction. (The story is also repeated in suras 27 and29).
Quran (7:81) – “Will ye commit abomination such as no creature ever did before you?” This verse is part of the previous text and it establishes that homosexuality as different from (and much worse than) adultery or other sexual sin. According to the Arabic grammar, homosexuality is called the worst sin, while references elsewhere describe other forms of non-marital sex as being “among great sins.”
Quran (26:165-166) – “Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, “And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing”
Quran (4:16) – “If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, Leave them alone” This is the Yusuf Ali translation. The original Arabic does not use the word “men” and simply says “two from among you.” Yusuf Ali may have added the word “men” because the verse seems to refer to a different set than referred to in the prior verse (explicitly denoted as “your women”). In other words, since 4:15 refers to “your women”, 4:16 is presumably written to and refers to men.
Interestingly, the same rules don’t seem to apply in paradise, where martyrs for the cause of Allah enjoy an orgy of virgins and “perpetual youth” Quran (56:17) (otherwise known as “boys”Quran (52:24)). Quran (76:19) bluntly states, “And immortal boys will circulate among them, when you see them you will count them as scattered pearls.” Technically, the mere presence of boys doesn’t necessarily mean sex, however it is strongly implied from the particular emphasis on the effeminacy, handsomeness and “freshness” of the boys. The female virgins of paradise are also compared to pearls (56:23).
I am not implying a link between homosexuality and pedophilia here anymore than we are implying one between heterosexuality and pedophilia when recounting that Muhammad’s preferred wife was a 9-year-old girl.
Homosexuals are beheaded, hung and stoned in modern Saudi Arabia and Iran, where Muhammad’s laws are applied most strictly. Five other Muslim countries also have the death penalty on their books for homosexual behavior. In the past, gays were burned.
As one cleric recently put it, the only point of theological debate is not whether the homosexual should be killed, but how it should be done.
Meanwhile…….. Several ISIS-linked Twitter accounts have praised Mateen’s actions, although there has been no official claim of responsibility.
