Sometimes we have to take a step back and look at the “character” of the people who run for President of the United States of America. The idea that the last and dying wish of a “youngish” man leaving behind a wife and two children would be suggesting to his father a run for the Presidency is one of the most shameful and sad aspects of the story of Joe Biden.
“He tried to make his father promise to run, arguing that the White House should not revert to the Clintons and that the country would be better off with Biden values,” Read more: said.”http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/10/06/biden-reportedly-shared-details-on-dying-sons-wish-run-for-president/
According to multiple sources, it was Biden himself who talked to Maureen Dowd in preparation for her story, painting a tragic portrait of a dying son, Beau’s face partially paralyzed, sitting his father down and trying to make him promise to run for president because “the White House should not revert to the Clintons and that the country would be better off with Biden values.”
It was said that he repeated the story several times, sometimes details change — the setting, the exact words. “The version he gave Dowd delivered the strongest punch to the gut”.
Truthfully people, a person in the last stages of brain cancer will sleep a great deal because of the morphine used to keep him comfortable. Most family members will try to grab every moment when the patient is conscious, and yes , they are in a measure of pain. I will not go over the horror of what happens in the last stage as it is different in most cases. To this day I can still remember what my uncle went through, however, I remember that I opted for a really short haircut the week before and he told me that he hated it (smile).
This appears to be very calculating, and we need to ask ourselves what kind of person formulates a Presidential campaign out of a story about a dying son? God forbid that anyone should go through this but who does this?
